Normal solution

Hints are given below when you expand the boxes.

Spoiler: Hint 1 (What to do)
A good start would be to stand on the view square on the south edge of the level, so you can see the whole ice-patch at once and plan your attack.
Spoiler: Hint 2
You will have to slip on the ice from the west to go east into the exit chamber. But it's all ice up to the western wall, so there's no convenient patch of empty floor you have to reach first.
Spoiler: Hint 3
If there's no way to stop yourself on the ice west of the exit chamber entrance, you'll have to create a way to stop yourself on the ice.
Spoiler: Hint 4
What's with the blocks in this level? Didn't you learn something about blocks in the last couple of levels?
Spoiler: Hint 5
The Gap taught you that you can build blocks up into makeshift walls. You will have to use that principle in this level.
Spoiler: Hint 6
You have five blocks. Where can you line up five blocks so that they'll stop you on the row of tiles west of the exit chamber?
Spoiler: Hint 7
Have you noticed the strip of five un-iced tiles in the southeast corner? That's the only place where you can build five blocks out from the wall to the row you need. Then you can go to the northeast, follow the east wall of the ice south, and skate to a stop right outside the exit!
Spoiler: Hint 8
Push all blocks onto the strip of five tiles in the southeast corner of the big ice room. Plan ahead - some blocks will be harder than others.
Spoiler: Hint 9 (How to do it)
The S and E will be pretty straightforward - they clearly just go east, then south. But how will you push the three southwestern blocks (the I, L and D) onto the strip? Plan around these three blocks.
Spoiler: Hint 10
There's a thick wall which divides the northwest and southwest corners apart, and a little corridor south of that wall which points east towards the strip (it's in line with two un-iced floor tiles in the middle of the ice patch). The I, L and D will be pushed through that corridor. They will end up four tiles north of the southern wall, so deal with these three blocks now - otherwise, you might have trouble fitting them all on the strip easily.
Spoiler: Hint 11
The D block will be the hardest to place. You'll need another block's help to push it down the corridor identified in Hint 10.
Spoiler: Hint 12
You will need to use the I block as an obstacle for the D. That is, you need to place the D before you place the I.
Spoiler: Hint 13 (solution)
Push those blocks like this. The red arrows show how Emm will skate to get to the exit.

From the start of the level, push the D north, west (so that the I gets in its way), north, and east so that it ends up above the southeast corner on the strip of un-iced floor. Then get north of it and push it south to tuck it into the corner. Smash the I to reset its position. Push it north and east down the corridor, and tuck it south into the corner as with the D. Push the L west, north and east, and do the same with it. Push the S and E east, then south. With all five blocks in a north-south line in the southeast corner, stand directly north of then, skate south to collide with them, and step east into the exit room.

Present solution

Spoiler: Hint 1 (present location)
The present can be easily seen in the SW corner of the room, on a tall pillar. You'll have to gain some altitude.
Spoiler: Hint 2
Note the stairs up near the exit gate.
Spoiler: Hint 3
Solve the puzzle as normal to get to the exit but then take the stairs up to find a SLIDE bridge. From there, you could drop down to the present.
Spoiler: Hint 4 (solution)
You might have spotted what the E, S, I, D, L blocks can spell, given the level's theme. If you solve the level by putting the letters in the right order you can cross a SLIDE bridge. Push the blocks into place in reverse order: E, D, I, L, S. (Push the I north first to avoid hitting the D. Push the L west, north to avoid getting stuck.) Once you spell SLIDE, you can drop down on the present via the stairs near the exit.
