Hints are given below when you expand the boxes.
Spoiler: Hint 1 (what to do)
It should be clear what you need to do to progress here, but you'll need to plan ahead. What blocks are available to you? How should you arrange the words?
Spoiler: Hint 2 (PLAN...)
Spelling PLAN is the easy part, and it can be tackled independently of the other words. Choose an easy, out-of-the-way place to spell it.
Spoiler: Hint 3
You can probably spell PLAN in the pit, but I prefer to use the northeast corner. All the blocks of PLAN are easily pushed into that corner.
Spoiler: Hint 4
The word PLAN will read north-to-south.
Spoiler: Hint 5
Push the PLAN blocks up into the corner
If you push the P north and east into the corner, all the other blocks just go east and north! (Actually, you'll have to push the N one tile south first, but that shouldn't be tricky.)
Spoiler: Hint 6 (...FOR YOU - planning)
This leaves FOR and YOU to spell. But have you noticed the problem you have with the blocks? How must you arrange the two words?
Spoiler: Hint 7
You only have one O. So FOR and YOU need to cross over at the O (making a plus shape). How can you set that up?
Spoiler: Hint 8
Since blocks want to travel until they hit a wall or obstacle, it's going to be very difficult to make the plus shape without some help from the architecture. (You could try using the blocks of PLAN as temporary obstacles, but you would have to be able to recover them to spell PLAN afterwards. I'm not saying it's impossible, but it's going to be way easier to use the level architecture to set up the FOR-YOU cross.)
Spoiler: Hint 9
Remember, you can stack blocks on top of each other. The plus shape doesn't have to be lying flat.
Spoiler: Hint 10
Have you noticed the weird little walls at the north end of the pit?
Spoiler: Hint 11
Have you noticed that the little gap in those weird little walls is directly in line with the O blockpad?
Spoiler: Hint 12
Have you noticed that the two pillars against the south wall of the level are in line with the R, Y and U, conveniently letting you push them south, west and north into the pit?
Spoiler: Hint 13
You're going to set up your FOR-YOU cross standing up in the north end of the pit. The lowest letter will be nestled in the gap; the horizontal-reading word will lie across the walls and lowest letter; the highest letter will rest on top. Now consider which should be your vertical word, and which should be your horizontal word.
Spoiler: Hint 14
It's possible to arrange FOR-YOU with either FOR or YOU as the horizontal word. I think it's slightly easier to have FOR reading across, though, and the remaining hints will work with this as the setup.
Spoiler: Hint 15 (...FOR YOU - execution)
Having planned our FOR-YOU cross as described in Hints 13 and 14, it's time to put it into action. What block should go into position first?
Spoiler: Hint 16
If we're working vertically, we need to go bottom-up. It's far easier to place a block on top of another block than underneath another block.
Spoiler: Hint 17
The U should go into position first. (Again, I'm spelling FOR going across and YOU going down. The other way around will work - you'll need the R instead of the U here - but I'm just outlining one method here.) You'll need to push some other blocks a little bit to get it into position.
Spoiler: Hint 18
The U wants to go in the little gap between the walls in the pit. To get there, it needs to be on the O blockpad. What route will it take?
Spoiler: Hint 19
Push the F out of position, then push the U south and west so that the O stops it hitting the wall. Then you can push it north into the right spot. Now you can smash the F and O to reset them if you like. Now that your bottom block is in position, stop and think real carefully about how the F, O, R and Y are going to reach their positions...
Spoiler: Hint 20
How are you going to get the R into position, ultimately? If it's going to be in the column to the east of the YOU stack, it needs to stop on the tile to the east of the O blockpad. Therefore, you need two blocks - one on the blockpad, one immediately to the west of the blockpad against the wall - to stop the F in the right position. What will those two blocks be?
Spoiler: Hint 21
Since we're talking about the O blockpad, the O is an obvious choice for one of those two blocks. So you need one more block to the west of the O's blockpad. And that position happens to be where you need to put...
Spoiler: Hint 22
...the F! If you push the O out of the way, push the F directly west from its blockpad, and then smash the O to reset it, you should have FO spelled in the corner, ready to stop the R in the right place. You should be able to see how your FOR-YOU cross will come together now - you just need to plan for the Y.
Spoiler: Hint 23
Where does the Y need to stop to complete the YOU? What blocks can you safely push into position?
Spoiler: Hint 24
You can push the O and R north into position now, to make room for the Y. The rest should be trivial.
Spoiler: Hint 25 (full solution)
Push the FOR YOU blocks around in a U shape to build the two words crossing in the pit. (If you need a diagram for writing PLAN, check Hint 5 above.)
From each block's starting positions (restore the level to reset if necessary), spell PLAN: push the P east and north; push the L east; push the A east and north; push the N south, east and north (so that PLAN reads north-to-south in the northeast corner of the room).
Push the F south, then push the U south, west (so it collides with the O) and north (so it lands in the gap between the little walls in the north end of the pit). Push the O south into the corner, smash the F, and push the new F west so it's west of the O blockpad. Smash the O (you should now have FO spelled south of the pit). Push the R south and west, spelling FOR.
Push the O and R north into the pit, so the O lands on top of the U and the R lands beside it. Push the Y south and west, so you now have FY in the corner near the O blockpad. Push the F and Y north to complete the FOR-YOU cross and close all the bridges. Cross the bridges. Spend many hours studying under Billy's expert tutelage, then make your way to the exit once you're confident you know what a block is.

Present solution
Spoiler: Hint 1 (present location)
Finding the present is the tricky part.
Spoiler: Hint 2
Observe the level geometry. Where haven't you walked yet?
Spoiler: Hint 3
There's a low winding bridge you can't initially get to west of the starting platform.
Spoiler: Hint 4 (solution)
Drop down north or south from this gangplank near the ascension point to find the present
Solve the level normally. Go up to the exit and walk out east on to the gangplank. You can jump down to the platform below if you are one square left from the end of the platform (you should be able to see red preview squares on the platform below). Follow the lower platform around to the present.

Spoiler: Achievements
There are 4 achievements available for this level:
- Long Drop: Fall 200+ meters and live.
Spoiler: Hint 1
You may have noticed some interesting geometry on the north side of the level that you didn't use to get the normal solution nor the present. Weird eh?
Spoiler: Hint 2
If you go near the YOU bridge and walk to the north wall then fling west, you can find a hidden FORAY bridge way down in the pit.
Spoiler: Hint 3
You need another way to get to the FORAY bridge.
Spoiler: Hint 4
Have you found the present yet?
Spoiler: Hint 5
You can't spell FORAY and YOU at the same time. How can you cross the bridges?
Spoiler: Hint 6
Solve the level as normal. Touch the Egg checkpoint near the exit. Go back and make FORAY out of blocks. Die, and get reborn near the exit (skipping the need for bridges). Stand on the View square near the present and hold Shift to see where you will fling to. Note that there's a protrusion one square to the west. Move one square west and fling north to fall 200 meters and land on FORAY.
- School of Hard Blocks: Beat School of Blocks without placing blocks in the pit
Spoiler: Hint 1
PLAN is easiest to make so do it last. You'll need the PLAN blocks as spacers to help spell the other words.
Spoiler: Hint 2
Where's the best place to build FOR YOU not in the pit? Note that ice doesn't affect blocks.
Spoiler: Hint 3
Try spelling FOR horizontally and YOU vertically in the SW corner. The FO blockpads are in a convenient row.
Spoiler: Hint 4
Here's one way:
- Get U in position just east of the SE pillar: push F east, push U south, east (using F as backstop), south. Smash the F.
- Get Y in position two squares north of U: Push R south, push O east (making ORF), push Y out of the way to the east, push A south, east (making AF), then rebirth the Y, push it south, east (making YRO vertically). Resmash the O, R, F, A blocks.
- Get R in position: push F out of the way south, then push R south, east.
- Get O in position: leave F out of the way, then push O east, making OR/YOU.
- Get F in position: smash F to rebirth it then push east, making FOR.
- Make PLAN by resetting all those letters then push P north, east, push L east, push A east, push N south, east, north to spell PLAN.
You need to exit the level to get the achievement.
- Pulpit Pounder: Take Billy's preferred station.
Spoiler: Hint 1
You may need to restart the level to get this achievement(?).
Spoiler: Hint 2
Cross the PLAN FOR YOU bridges as normal and then race Billy to the podium. Flinging will help.
Spoiler: View squares
There are 4 view squares on this level:
- Near the starting egg.
- On the east side of the level near the YOU bridge.
- In Billy's classroom showing the chalkboards.
- Near the present.
