This is a story-based level which introduces a new gameplay mechanic. Don't worry about what happens - you'll beat the level eventually.

Spoiler: Hint 2
The HELD bridge is always dropped underneath you the first time you try to cross it. This is unavoidable. You'll have to wait out the consequences, I'm afraid. (Don't worry, this is the only time you'll have to see it. Emm, on the other hand...)

Spoiler: Hint 3
Once you're back in the level and the HELD bridge is reformed, you can safely cross it and walk to the exit. (Although you should stop to experiment in this level before you leave. Trying to find the present would be a good opportunity to experiment...)

Find the present on the ground near the north side of the level.

Note the space one square south of the present that is not covered in spikes.

Where can you fling from to the present?

Spoiler: Hint 4 (solution)
Fling here (or anywhere in the same north-south column) to reach the present Find the exit, then fling to the north while standing one square west of the exit's column. You will land on the square devoid of spikes and can claim the present.
