Spoiler: Hint 1 (figuring out what to do)
This level is about extreme block-pushing! It really is a long corridor, but flinging makes the exploration a lot quicker. First, fling to the south end of the level and check out what you have to do to leave the level.
Spoiler: Hint 2
Another incorporeal XXX bridge is in your way. How did you deal with this the last time you saw it?
Spoiler: Hint 3
Remember The Undermid?
Spoiler: Hint 4
This level is like the Undermid with a different shape. You need to collect eight X blocks together in a stack to close the bridge. (Okay, they don't have to be stacked, but since the order of Xs doesn't matter, it would be way easier just to smash and stack them up than to lay them flat.) What do you have to do to make this happen?
Spoiler: Hint 5
Those X blocks next to the exit would be very convenient, but you can't reach them without closing the bridge. So you're forced to use all the Xs on ground level. Where must you stack them up?
Spoiler: Hint 6
As usual, look for a block that can't go anywhere else.
Spoiler: Hint 7
You can never get the southernmost X block out of the southern zone, because of the walls just north of it. Therefore...
Spoiler: Hint 8
To solve this level, you must push every X block all the way to the south end of the level and stack them up on the blockpad there to close the bridge.
Spoiler: Hint 9 (a convenient gameplay feature you might not have noticed yet)
This level features a lot of smashing blocks onto blockpads. When you push a block, keep an eye out for the dotted line that emerges from it for a split second. This dotted line points to the block's nearest blockpad. If you smash the block in that spot, it will be reborn on that blockpad. Being aware of each block's nearest blockpad will make life a lot easier in this level.
Spoiler: Hint 10 (the northern half - the easy blocks)
The level is in two halves, with a wall in the centre dividing the two. There are four blocks in the northern half. You should first focus on getting each of these to the centre wall and smashing them so they are reborn on a blockpad south of the wall.
Spoiler: Hint 11
Look for a path of least resistance here, to make life a little easier. What's the most direct path the blocks could take?
Spoiler: Hint 12
The eastern side of the northern half has no walls attached to it.
Spoiler: Hint 13
If you can push a northern block to the eastern boundary and then south, it will travel all the way to the centre wall where you can smash it and rebirth it in the south. Two blocks can be dealt with in this way.
Spoiler: Hint 14 (the northern half - the slightly harder blocks)
One block, southwest of the starting egg, is impossible to push to the east as it is. Where does it want to go? Where can you rebirth it that's more helpful?
Spoiler: Hint 15
That block goes west and south very easily, and ends up near a blockpad that starts with a block on it. Rebirth it there, and both blocks will go to the centre wall in the same way.
Spoiler: Hint 16
Assuming you now have two blocks stacked up there, is there another blockpad that's more helpful nearby?
Spoiler: Hint 17
Push and smash the blocks around like this
There should be another blockpad to the east that, should we spawn our blocks there, will let us do that eastern wall trick in Hint 13 very easily! Push your blocks towards that one (north and east will do the job), smash and rebirth them, and you should be as good as done with the northern half.
Spoiler: Hint 18 (the southern half - dealing with the blocks from the north)
Assuming you've got all eight X blocks south of the dividing wall by now, this is the point where you should stop and plan. How is the southern half laid out? What blockpads can each block get to? Which blockpads are in useful positions? Careful - one blockpad here is a trap, and it will get you nowhere.
Spoiler: Hint 19
Remember, your goal is to get all blocks to the southernmost blockpad. Which blockpads will let you push blocks as far south as possible? Which blockpads WON'T?
Spoiler: Hint 20
Blocks from the northern half will end up on the blockpad south of the central wall (along with another block which starts there). There's a wall from the eastern side forming a sort of bucket south of here, and south of THAT you'll find two blockpads, one near the east wall and another in the centre. One of these blockpads is important. The other is useless.
Spoiler: Hint 21
Investigate these blockpads for yourself by flinging south from them to mime a block's movement. You'll find that one of the blockpads will lead to your blocks getting caught up inconveniently.
Spoiler: Hint 22
Push the blocks to the central blockpad, and ignore the eastern blockpad
You want blocks to rebirth on the central pad, where you can push them very far south. The eastern pad doesn't let you push the blocks far south enough; they'll get caught on walls which will lead them into the long dead-end on the western side. (No worries if that happens, you can rescue any blocks that end up there. See the next section.) So push your blocks from the northern half south into the wall-bucket, then west, then smash them to make sure they go to the central pad. From here, they can go all the way south to be smashed onto the southernmost pad.
Spoiler: Hint 23 (the southern half - the long dead-end and the remaining blocks)
One of the remaining blocks in the south half starts next to the long dead-end, so you're forced to smash it onto the blockpad in there. Where can the block go next?
Spoiler: Hint 24
The block naturally has to go north to leave the dead-end. This should lead you to more familiar ground.
Spoiler: Hint 25
You'll be near the dividing wall again. Then you can push the block east, smash it there, and have it rebirth where your northern blocks birthed. Deal with it as you dealt with those blocks.
Spoiler: Hint 26
The only block not yet discussed is the block which starts just north of the exit, and that goes onto the southern blockpad very easily. You should now have all blocks near enough to the south (or know how to get them there) that you can smash everything onto the southern blockpad and close the bridge.
Spoiler: Hint 27 (full solution)
(See the below hint for a full diagram.)
Push the X block southwest of the start west, then south, then smash it to form a stack of two Xs nearby. Push each of these north, then east, then smash them. Push all four blocks in the northern half of the level east, then south, then smash them, to ultimately form a stack of five Xs just south of the dividing wall across the level.
In the southern half, smash the southernmost block, then push the block northeast of that west, south, and smash it so you have two Xs on the southernmost blockpad. Smash the block near the long dead-end, then head into that dead-end and push the rebirthed block north and east and smash it. You should now have a stack of six blocks south of the central wall. Push each block one-by-one south, then west, then smash it so that it spawns on the central blockpad rather than the eastern one. Then push each block south and smash them so that they rebirth on top of the two blocks already in the south. This will close the bridge.
Spoiler: Hint 28 (long diagram of solution)
Here's how you can push the blocks southward across the whole level. (Black lines are where I've cut long stretches out of the map. This really is a long corridor.)
Present solution
Spoiler: Hint 1 (present location)
The present is easily seen on the north side of the level, near the starting point. It's out of reach on a raised island in the middle.
Spoiler: Hint 2
You fling right next to it if you traverse the level.
Spoiler: Hint 3
There's an X blockpad just south of the raised island the present is on.
Spoiler: Hint 4 (solution)
How you can use those convenient spikes near the blockpad you need to use for the present
Stack at least 5 X blocks on the blockpad just south of the raised island where the present is. If you push blocks into the spikes left of the blockpad, they will be reborn on the pad nicely. If you've put blocks in un-retrievable situations, solve the level as normal and use the extra X blocks stacked near the exit, although you can do it with the blocks you are given earlier. Go up the stairs on the north side of level and fling south to the present island, using the X blocks as a backstop.
